Atlas Commercial Real Estate Co. (“Atlas”) was established in 2020 but the Company is far from new to the commercial real estate industry. Together the Principals have over sixty years experience in the commercial/industrial sales, leasing, development and property management arena specializing in the Atlantic Region and have represented clients from all over the world.

Atlas recognizes every client and property are unique and their enthusiasm and resourcefulness allows them to assist landlords, tenants, owner buyers and investors reach their goals. From finding a location for a small business to interfacing with state, county and city governmental agencies benefit both property owners, developers and investors when dealing in land use and zoning issues.


Mary Torres

Mary M. Torres earned a Bachelor of Science from University of Maryland at College Park and has been working in the commercial real estate field since 1995. She is a commercial real estate broker focused on property management and leasing.

As a property manager she provides personalized service to preserve and enhance property investment value for her clients while maintaining strong tenant relationships.

Mary also enjoys assisting clients succeed in their present locations by extending and enhancing their tenancy in existing locations or in finding the ideal location for lease to relocate or begin a new business venture.


Edward Scott has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland at College Park and has been working in the commercial real estate industry in Frederick since 1983 beginning his career leasing and selling commercial/ industrial property. He began developing in 1990 and his expertise was unmatched in this market relocating Toys “R” Us, Georgia Pacific, Medimmune/AstraZeneca, Rinker Materials-Hydro Conduit/Cemex to Frederick over his many years in the industry. Ed has significant knowledge of the regulatory processes in many jurisdictions throughout the Region as well as infinite knowledge of the development and construction.

Ed has been involved in many different philanthropic endeavors. He currently supports The Allemall Foundation Inc. providing funding for conservation efforts as well as water, food and medical funding for projects throughout the world. The Allemall Foundation Inc. also provides college scholarships for students interested in Environmental Studies, Ecology and Conservation as well as college and graduate funding and internships in related studies.
